Short Vacation Suggestions in Florida?

I live in Florida and am wanting to take a small 3 day vacation with my boyfriend within the state. We don’t want to go to Miami, Clearwater/Tampa, or Orlando…we’ve been there tons of times :) any suggestions? We live in Central Florida.

We’re hoping some place not so “party-ish” but not dead either…just nice place to visit or tourist town or hidden beauty type place…we like the outdoors and the ocean but are not really into fishing…thanks in advance for your help!
oh, and we are college kids on a budget so…some places that won’t break the bank!! Cheap (but not trashy) = great! lol

Any Suggestions for Tampa Kid Attractions… HELP!!!?

In Tampa for one overnite with two kids. What is a good attraction I can prettymuch do in an afternoon. Busch Gardens is pretty large, can you suggest something specific that can cater to 9 and 7 year olds

Any suggestions of where to stop for fun between Chicago and Tampa?

We are going on a trip with our 7 yr old son from Chicago to Florida. We are driving so I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that would be neat to stop at on our 18 hour journey!? Please let me know of any suggestions with the name of the place and the vacinity. Thanks alot!

Flying United Airlines morning of 11/30 from Denver to Tampa and want to change my flight any suggestions?

I would like to stay in Denver an extra day (Mon. night) and dont want to pay to change my flight. Could I get bumped and fly Tuesday morning? Isnt Monday a busy flying day which should be overbooked? Need suggestios please, thank you

I’ve looked on the internet and the hotels and golf clubs are too expensive. Looking mainly for a reception/banquet hall or garden club type place where we can do most of the stuff ourselves like food, drinks, etc. Please help!

Suggestions for places to stop on a cross-country trip?

My bestfriend are going to be traveling across the country this summer( and then back with my family) from Portland, Oregon to Tampa, Florida area. We are looking for cool places to stop along the way and the best HWYs and such to take. We interesting in finding some cool karaoke bars, places to shop, picture ops as wells as pretty much anything else. We’ve got a nice chunk of time allotted for the trip down so we want to find some cool things to do. Any suggestions would be awesome. :)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a small beach town in florida for vacation?

My family and I normally go to to siesta key in sarasota, fl and love it but are looking to visit something new. If anyone knows of somewhere similar to siesta key or if you don’t know this area it’s a small village with restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance of a hotel and very near the beach. I live in Miami, don’t want to drive too far, maybe as far as Tampa, anywhere in between, west coast or east coast is fine.

I’m going on vacation to Tampa Florida in early November. I’m looking for suggestions on things to do.?

I am going with my girlfriend. We are late 20’s-early 30’s. We are from Wisconsin. Here are some things that we enjoy: Dancing, beaches, sports, seafood, music, cocktails, music, hiking/parks, sightseeing, things off the beaten path, wildlife, water(swimming/boating etc.) What are your suggestions? What do you like to do there?

I need a place in FLORIDA to go on Vacation… ANY SUGGESTIONS??!!!?

I would like to stay at a hotel on the beach. The beach is amazing! But I also want to stay somewhere that is close attractions, too.

I was going to stay in Tampa for Busch Gardens, but the beach is 45 minutes away…does anyone have another suggestion??

We have the Van rental reserved, now we need to reserve a hotel. Any suggestions of sites or hotels in Tampa? Somewhere close to the airport, is fine, but safe…… We will be there for 4 nights.
