I am planning on visiting a friend in Charleston over the summer and I will be traveling by myself. The problem with this is that I don’t know if I will have anywhere to stay because I am only 18. Are there any hotels that are lenient with in the Charleston area?

I recently stayed at the Day Inn in Michigan and made a reservation for a week and it was absolutely horrible. Crackheads everywhere, had to change room three times, couldn’t get a refund, etc. I went on their website and they have a Customer Service number or you can email them. Which do you think would be better to throughly say everything bad that went on at that “hotel”

Friday Night they play in Tampa FL in a sold out home field, over 68 thousand screaming fans, they beat WV at home last year, and they are a hell of a lot better this year (both teams). However because of the conference both are in (Big East) if USF stays undefeated which the very well can seeing how the season has been totally unpredictable, will they be in the bidding for a BCS title? They play several ranked teams in a tough conference, with some key losses I.E. USC to Cal , Oklahoma to Texas, Florida to LSU and Florida To Georgia and or South Carolina that leaves a few unbeaten teams what do you guys think, If they stay unbeaten the will definitely play in a January Bowl, but do you think this year they have a shot at the title?
Before you answer look at the facts, USF plays or has played 4 ranked teams along with some teams that are not ranked but still tough, they are also in a Major Confrence

I will be going to lakeland florida to se the detroit tigers in spring training. I will be flying to tampa and renting a car. i was wondering if you would reccemd me staying in tampa? or lakeland? I’ve been told from tampa to lakeland its about 30 min. I don’t know anyone in the area
I’ve been told that there isnt a heck of a lot to do in lakeland other than watch baseball. Should I stay in tampa and just go to lakeland on game days? Or should I just room in lakeland?
*I’ll be going with a buddy of mine. We’re both college kids and tight on money so staying at the Sheraton or Hyatt isnt a option for us. The prices would have to be $55 and below. Were staying mar 7th-14th

My husband and I are planning a trip from Tampa Fl. over to the east coast and up to Savannah Ga. I would like to know some of the tourist attractions (the more unusual the better) we like simple yet interesting things. We plan on leaving on the 24 th. of January for a 4 or 5 day get away. I need info on places of interest in and around Savannah but if there is something along the way I would like to know. Also info on tours that are worthwhile.

Hi i’m 19 yrs old and live in Tampa. I’m very patriotic and am interested in joining the air force to do firefighting, but i’ve obtained my EMT-B/Firefighting l & ll state certifications all ready. I have a set position here waiting for me and I will be hired with Tampa Fire in Feb 2008, but I don’t know whether to stay and take this opportunity which I have guaranteed or to take my chance with the air force firefighting. So if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m going to be going to Vegas for my 21st birthday in a year (generic i know) and i was wondering what are some good hotels on the strip that are affordable but clean? I have read about the Flamingo and wanted to know if anyone has stayed there and has any comments about their stay? Anybody have any other suggestions as to what hotels may be good? Thanks a bunch!

I bought my son (13 yo) and I a ticket to Tampa FL. Going in January for a quick four day get away. I thought it would be an awesome xmas present and some “us time”. Everywhere I looked, the hotels are so expensive. If anyone has any input that would be great, i.e. good inexpensive hotel, I would love an indoor pool since I’m not sure what the weather will be.
