I would say I like both, however last time I was in South Florida alot the places to stay were bering replaced by expensive high rise condos and such. Last time I was in the Tampa Bay area it still seemed that there were still places to stay and also I think that is due to the lack of growth there because there is no more land to grow and expand whereas as Miami is becoming the New York City of the south.

Come and visit us, Indian Rocks Beach, south of Clearwater Beach, 2miles. Its unspoiled, rates are low this time of year, pristine.See you at the beach….

The number one beach in the US is the Desoto Park Beach in St. Petersburg. There are a lot of small reasonably priced hotels and time shares that rent the apt for the price of a hotel room on the beach in Madeira Beach and Treasure Island that we go to. Also less crime and congestion.
