could anyone tell me if there is wireless internet in hotels in florida such as miami, orlando and tampa?

can anyone tell me if they know if there is free wireless internet in hotels in florida or is that extra and does every hotel have it? and also i was wondering about McDonald’s in orlando a friend told me they have internet in there and it cost them to use it i don’t know if they had their own laptop or if they had to use one in McDonald’s i don’t know if McDonald’s has them for people to use or not . could someone tell me if they know any of this? i would very much appreciate it!

    Hotels differ.You would have to ask or check out the hotel’s website.

    tripadvisor.com a free site has forums for most cities and links to hotels where you can find your info. Or you can ask in the specific forum yourself.

    A lot of modern 3/4 star hotels have free internet, some even have a room with a PC and a printer you can use for free. Best to ask before you book, some need a cable for in room connection (ofter available on free loan at reception), older motels/hotels may just have free wireless in the lobby.
    If you take your lap top goggle free wireless access or similar, Panara bread outlet is a good one with power for your laptop and good food to boot, there are others as well including some book shops/coffee shops.

    I wouldn’t trust those free WiFi internet locations.. cuz a hacker can easily set one up anywhere (yes, at an airport, restaurant, etc) along with the other free WiFi’s provided and you can get your identity stolen like that, cuz u could be using the hacker’s WiFi connection. And if you log into your bank account on the hacker’s Wifi, or your email then you’re DONE. Dont do it…. i dunno if its the same with cell phones tho, but make sure u have a data plan or somethin!!

    hotels differ, check the ammenities.
    yes neighborhoods have the signals too. I have clearwire on a laptop and i bet they are using my signals too! (unplugs her ethernet cord…) hehe
