Does it have to be Tampa? Tampa itself does not really have any beaches. It is on Tampa Bay. Between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico is Pinellas County (home to St. Petersburg, Clearwater and others). From Tampa International Airport you can take a taxi (about $40) or the Limo ($25?) to the beaches of St. Pete/Clearwater. There are 4-star resort hotels (The Don Cesar-St. Pete Beach) and Grand Plaza Hotel (Clearwater Beach), tons of mom and pop places and everything in-between (Ramada's, Holiday Inns, etc.). All are on miles and miles of some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the country. If you must stay in Tampa then any of the Rocky Point hotels (Westin, Hyatt, etc.) but it will be a patch of sand leading to the Bay.

You know Tampa is not an ocean.. Its a bay.. And you need to go to the ocean if you want to go to the beach... I suggest staying somewhere closer to the beach like Clearwater.. Maybe look into some hotels in that area..

I hope this helps :)

I was a hotel manager in Tampa for 3 years before going to Jacksonville. Generally, unless there is an event (ex. football) or conference there should not be much of a problem to book a hotel. But where you want to stay within Tampa, the quality of hotel or the cost will definatly be different.
As a general rule otf thumb, in the hotel business, rates are the best priced 2 or so months out. As dates get closer, rates can begin to climb. its called "base rate building." Anyway.............
I would find WHERE in Tampa you want to stay and perhaps consider St Petersburg/Clearwater only 15 miles away accross a bridge for better prices on hotels and definatly better beaches. Once you find where you want to stay check hotels in the area VIA the web call the hotels.
Good luck. Tampa is nice with alot of things to do. Check out Ybor City at nights. LOL

Hello,
I love Indian Rocks Beach and Madeira Beach
Indian Rocks has Crabby Bills and Madeira has Johns Pass. If you want to go a little further (1 hourish) South there is also a beach called Siesta Key. They have a nice little village and an award winning beach (it's been on Dr. Beach's list for a few years). Siesta is really my favorite in the area

All of the locations you mentioned are right at the top of the list for great beaches. Bright sand and beautiful bluish waters. Indian Rocks Beach and St. Pete Beach are outstanding. Seashell hunting is excellent. You won't find clear water like you see in those travel brochures from the Bahamas, but it can appear to be pretty close on a good calm day.

Bring LOTS of sunblock for the kids.

I'm not sure about that hotel specifically, but I went to a hotel once (don't remember what one) and my sister and I brought a Game Cube and played it on the TV there. The only thing was that we couldn't get it to the right channel, but someone from the front desk came and helped us. It worked out great and definitely helped us not be bored.

Well there are a lot of Variables to this
First, what time of day? the two main roads through Lutz (41 and Livingston) get fairly busy during rush hour times
Second, Do you mean the Fletcher exit for I75 or I275 they both have fletcher exits in north tampa

I would say
at best for both of these it could be around 15 minutes
at worst half and hour to 45 minutes

try and take 41 if your going I275 it has more lanes and a little easier to drive. Livingston would be your shortest route to I75 but it's only 1 lane and can get backed up in the mornings and afternoons

It's not really wrong and it's also not truly holding a room. Hotels expect a certain number of last minute cancellations and routinely overbook to allow for it. Once in awhile they even run out of rooms due to overbooking and send reserved guests elsewhere.

It's not wrong at all. Hotel websites and hotel front desk associates will let you cancel a day from your reservation as long as it is in line with the cancellation policy for that particular hotel. Hotel associates know that flight, weather, business, and family delays can happen. It works the other way too. Let's say you're checked into a hotel and you have to leave early. As long as you check-out be check-out time for that hotel, they will cancel the reservation you had for that night.

Note that this does not work for pre-paid reservations such as priceline, travelocity, travelweb, etc.

You could probably google "rock climbing" in anyone of those cities, and get something. Also, be on the lookout for any Dicks Sporting Goods stores down there. They have a decent wall inside.

i'm honestly not sure, sorry, but i think there is a renfrew center in florida...i really don't know much about their program though. i have been in ED treatment for the past year and a half, and have been struggling for over 10 years with anorexia/bulimia (technically EDNOS)...it's hard as hell but it does help if you're ready for it. i wasn't ready for it when i went into residential treatment (i was there 3 months), but a lot of girls i was there with (i was at laureate in tulsa, OK....it's a wonderful program) have recovered, which i think is amazing. i also did programming locally in my city and have seen a lot of girls/guys there recover as well....you basically spend a lot of time talking about your feelings and learning how to cope...but you also play games and make great friends. and, of course, you have to eat meals/snacks with staff and other patients, to make sure you're eating and keeping it down. depending on your weight/vital signs and willingness, they will determine whether or not you need a feeding tube (i was on a feeding tube for about 2 1/2 months...not counting my time in the hospital).

anyway...i'm still struggling a lot today, but if you have any questions about ed treatment feel free to friend me or message me! and i am firmly PRO-recovery, although i am by no means close to that yet. so yeah. ummm i think that's about it! i would be happy to do what i can to help if you want, let me know!!! :-)

i agreed with you till you got to the NFC east. the giants are going no where. they lost way to many people and Eli is going to realise it was a flook. Mcnabb is healthy and with their secondary being a monster i say they do better then 1 more win then last season. Red skins are getting more then 5 wins, give me a break.

Then the NFC East Vikings cannot rely on one guy to get them 11 wins with a so so quarterback. the packers is probably right. and with Detroit losing their back to the bears thats probably right too. the bears have a healthy D as of now. go back to youtube and watch some 06 season games of what their D can do. you have highly underestimated them.

Also, i don't agree with seattle doing worse then the cardinals. Seattle is a much better team. And the bucs in superbowl 43... idk Patriots, most likely, but not the bucs

This is the aircraft section, not USPS.

Have they already delivered your mail? They aren't going to make a special trip to your house.

But, you'll be lucky to see it tomorrow.

Any hotel will let you rent a room, as long as you have a credit or debit card in your name and your ID to prove it's your card

why wouldn't they let you

they can be if they are happening:
1. Quick (Allow yourself plenty of time between connections... 1 hr. or 90 mins. is plenty)

2. At peak time (Connections around 10 am, noon, and 3 pm can take some extra time)

In ATL, changing terminals does not happen, they are all connected beyond the secure area by a tram... the tram will take you between stations and you will not need to pass through security again...

This depends on a few things:
-if you are flying with the same airline, if you are not, then you will need to pickup bags, check in again, and go through security again.
-if you are changing terminals, if you are then you will have to change and go through security again
-and how much time you have, you do not want to be pressed for time!!!
have a good trip!

Guess it depends where you are trying to go and how soon. New York for tonight for example will probably be sold out. *lol* I would call hotels.com or expedia- have them look and see what's available. They have the best rates I've found.
